Boiler service cost
Every price here is a real one, not a guide figure. What you see is what you pay. If a job turns out to need more than the price covers, you will hear the number from me before I start rather than after.
How I price
Straight prices, not a starting-from figure that grows once I am standing in your kitchen. A boiler service is the same price* whether it takes forty minutes or ninety. A repair* is priced by the hour because a stuck valve and a failed PCB are not the same job, and I would rather charge for the time it actually takes than overcharge for the easy jobs and undercharge for the complex ones.
*Excluding parts.
Common questions
How much is a breakdown?
A flat rate of £110 for the first hour, £90 per hour thereafter excluding parts. Most breakdowns can be fixed within the first hour. However, where parts and/or additional time is required, this will be discussed before work commences.
Are parts included?
No. If parts are needed on a service or a breakdown, you will be given the price before the work is carried out.
Do you charge more for older or unusual boilers?
Sometimes, and I will always say so before I start rather than after. A boiler in a hard-to-reach loft or one nobody has serviced in years can take longer, and you will know the price before I touch it.
Need help?
Send me a photo or video of what your boiler is doing and I will get back to you with an answer asap!
